Solid Benefit Guidance is a company of insiders with hands-on experience in all financial, clinical and service components of both the pharmacy benefit and employee benefit management industries.

We give our clients the edge they need when navigating the ever-changing complexities of today’s healthcare market.

Headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, Solid Benefit Guidance was founded over 10 years ago. SBG is a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and Employee Benefit consulting firm with a vision to meet the needs of clients through our customized, full service benefit and pharmacy consulting services. Our staff of highly skilled benefit, finance, human resource, client management, and clinical professionals ensures that this vision is met.

Bill Resnick and Bill Guerci our co-founders, understand that many purchasers of Pharmacy Benefit and Employee Benefit services do not fully understand all of the pricing, contracting, and operational elements encompassed in their agreements. While many consulting firms exist in the market to provide consulting support, most lack professionals with institutional knowledge.

Hence, Solid Benefit Guidance was created to be the consulting firm with a team of insiders possessing the institutional knowledge necessary to navigate the ever complex and changing healthcare market.

Solid Benefit Guidance has seen tremendous success since it was founded in 2005. We have represented clients covering more than 40 million pharmacy members and hundreds of thousands of benefit lives.We count some of the nation’s most prestigious Fortune 500 companies, Health Plans, TPAs, Privately Held Firms, Taft-Hartley Health & Welfare Funds, Municipal Unions, Non-Profit Organizations, and Hospitals as our clients

In June 2015, SBG merged with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co (NYSE: AJG), a global leader in insurance brokerage and risk management services with client-service capabilities in more than 140 countries around the world. Our strategy has not changed; SBG was built by focusing on entrepreneurial business, and helping the fast-growth, dynamic companies within our core industries. SBG and Gallagher combined their operations to better serve our employees and our clients. We united our two firms to create a stronger organization that continues to lead the industry in client service and ethical business practices.
